How do I add a logo to my QR code?
Open the Logo tab in the editor, upload a PNG, JPG, or SVG file, then adjust the size and margin sliders until the QR still scans cleanly. Pretty QR keeps the three corner finder squares untouched so scanners can still lock on.
Will a logo break the QR code's scannability?
Not if you keep it under about 30% of the QR code size and leave the white margin Pretty QR adds by default. Larger logos rely on the QR code’s built-in error correction, so test a scan before printing.
Can I use a transparent PNG or SVG logo?
Yes, both are supported. A transparent background blends the logo into the QR code's background color automatically.
Is adding a logo free?
Yes. Uploading a logo, resizing it, and downloading the QR code as PNG or JPG is free with no signup.
